CLL 3rd Annual Kids Ice Fishing Derby

Online registration will close on February 17th at 11:59 PM. YOU CAYou can register on the day of the event at the weigh-in station in front of Camp Laughing Loon.

 

We are looking forward to hosting our 3rd Annual Kid’s Ice Fishing Derby to benefit Camp Laughing Loon, and we are so glad you are going to join us! Tickets will be $10 per child, plus a $2 processing fee (per ticket).

Some restrictions:
* Under no circumstances should a participant or parent attend if they are showing any sign of illness.
* As per Maine Fish and Wildlife, the MINIMUM length of bass entered in for the derby is 18 inches. You cannot keep a bass that is less than 18 inches in length.
* The MINIMUM length of trout entered for the derby is 14 inches. You cannot keep a trout that is less than 14 inches in length.

Trophies and prizes for the biggest fish. All fish must be weighed in by a derby organizer. In the event of a tie, the first fish weighed in will be the winner. All fish must be caught within the time frame of the derby. Participants may fish on any part of Little Ossipee Lake. Tickets must be purchased before a trap is set and will be required to be shown when a fish is weighed in. The weigh-in table will be in front of Camp Laughing Loon (big blue cement wall - hard to miss!).

 

50/50 Raffle to take place on the day of the tournament. Please purchase tickets for 50/50 at the weigh in station.

 

Portable Toilets are located at the Boat Ramp and Bob Fay Park. Limited parking will be available at Camp Laughing Loon (52 Laughing Loon Ln.) for access to weigh in station if necessary, no parking for the duration of the derby.

 

All proceeds from this event will go directly to benefit Camp Laughing Loon.

* Raffle Winners will be announced via Facebook and phone, any unclaimed tickets will be re-announced during the ceremony.
* Raffle Pricing: 1 ticket for $2, 5 tickets for $5, 12 tickets for $10, 25 tickets for $20

*Derby subject to be cancelled for any reason, including ice conditions. The registration fee will be refunded if the derby is cancelled, not including the processing fee. Raffle will still take place if the derby is cancelled.*
